Scarce HOGE Toy c. 1930 Miniature Tin Dollhouse Furniture Kitchen Room Set in Box

  

View my other auctions for vintage doll house miniatures, dolls, and other antique toys being listed. Very scarce miniature tin kitchen playset for use with small dolls that was made by Hoge Mfg c. This set is hard to find in any condition, let alone in almost mint condition in the original box with the illustrated foldout cardboard backdrop and foldout paper litho floor! The pieces are all lithographed tin with great colors.

There is a 6.5" tall 4-door icebox with opening doors, 7.5" tall step-back cupboard with 4 opening doors, a 5.25" tall x 5.5" wide stove range with opening door and bin, and a 5" tall x 5.5" wide sink with two lifting side lids over the basins. The range and sink are both on nicely curved legs. These are in all original condition, with just some light scratching and the cupboard has a small dent in the middle front as shown. This set comes with the original folding cardboard backdrop room to set-up your set, and the original foldout paper floor!

The backdrop is in very good condition with some light wear, and the paper floor has some tears and a couple of punctures and creases. This set comes in it's original box marked PLAY HOUSE KITCHEN ROOM No. The box has some split and repaired edges with a couple of small punctures, and the box bottom has some split corners.
