Dolls House 1/12 th Scale Gothic Gatehouse Castle 8 Rooms By Anglesey

  
This is a fabulous Dolls House Made by Anglesey Dolls Houses in the 1990s. It is in the style of a Gothic Castle. This was bought as a long term project but given our change in circumstances it has been completely renovated internally and now is reluctantly available for sale.

The outside has a stone effect finish. Every floor has been replaced with real individual oak veneer floorboards, apart from the kitchen area which has the quarry tile effect. Each room has all new skirting. The walls have all been painstakingly taken back to allow them to be freshly painted.

Some have been given a faded Gilt wax highlight to the plasterwork. Ive tried to make the rooms not to pristine as I wanted to give them a used but cared for look. Sue Cook Plasterware features have been added , decorative columns , a gothic style fireplace.

Not sure of the maker of the fireplace in the main room on the bottom left but it now has a pair or working candlesticks adorning the mantel shelf. The stairs in the stairways have all been given and aged worn used effect, as if someone has been using them for years and years. The kitchen area has a fixed corner cupboard with shelves. I have given the walls an aged finish along the skirting edge to look like damp patches , making it look like a used kitchen area. The Dolls House is ready for someone to furnish.

Each room has working candle effect lights which look great when its lit in the evenings. It will just need a transformer.

As you will see in the picture the house comes with a pair of original ornamental spires, they are not glued in place, to make it easier to transport. This truly is in my opinion a hard to find unusual Dolls House. Obviously it is not brand new but you dont find House with this amount of detail and character very often.

It has taken hours and hours of work to get the house looking this good, It truly is a very reluctant sale. The photographs do not do justice to the piece. The price does not reflect the hours I have spent renovating this magnificent piece but I have thoroughly enjoyed doing it , during these difficult times. Overall it is 42 inches wide by 17 deep by 42 inches high.
