Dolls house miniature Artisan MONKS BENCH / SETTLE WITH ANTIQUE PETIT POINT (b)

  
As one of my hobbies, I enjoy visiting old National Trust Houses in the hope of getting some inspiration to help me create new and exciting miniatures. I saw some beautiful Petit Point chairs a few years ago in one of the big houses in Derbyshire and only recently found exquisitely detailed petit point that was fine enough for 12th scale projects. This is a vintage handmade Monks Bench / Settle by D. Stanley and is signed on the back.

I have upholstered it in genuine antique Petit Point. The two cushions are loose. L 12.7cm x H14.4cm x D5cm.

The doll is to show scale only and is not included. This is a 12th scale (1 scale) collector's item and not suitable for persons under the age of 14 years. 1:12th (1) scale miniature item.
