Absolutely wonderful Victorian style dolls house handmade by Elphin Dollshouses in Hebden Bridge, West Yorkshire. George Parker of Elphin Dollshouses has been making realistic miniature houses since 1984, and this is one of his unique 360° designs. As far as I know, George is no longer making any dolls houses, and I've never seen anything like this from any other maker. The house is based on an 1840's Victorian era design. I think it would be perfect decorated in the Arts & Crafts or Gothic Revival style. It is viewable on all sides and has opening fronts on three sides. The conservatory is removable and the windows open. There are 7 Rooms - a double height hallway with wooden dog-leg staircase, and an attic room above. A kitchen; a dining room which leads to a conservatory. A living room with large fireplace; and two bedrooms (or a bedroom and bathroom). The house has been painted inside and out with a base layer to prevent warping, and the outside is finished in a textured white paint to resemble roughcast render and sandstone, with stone details. This of course could be redone to suit your architectural style. Inside is bare and ready to decorate however you like. The house is in very good condition, and with some work decorating will look utterly stunning. The doors do need rehanging as at the moment they don't close properly.

The interior and front/back doors are loose and come with a wooden surround to be glued in after decorating. The staircase and banister is also loose, as are two interior chimneybreasts, so you can decorate easily. The conservatory needs rebuilding as the glue joints have weakened. It needs'glass', as do the windows.

This is a large, impressive house and a wonderful addition for the serious collector of 12th scale miniatures. 29 1/2 x 31 inches (the house does come off the base so it can be moved easily).

The height to the tallest point is approx. 29 1/2 inches (the chimneys are also removable).

I might also be able to deliver in the West Yorkshire or Lancashire area if we can come to some agreement over petrol costs.
