Vintage 45 Pieces STROMBECKER JAPAN DOLLHOUSE FURNITURE Wood Ceramic 4 ROOMS

  
Living Room, Kitchen, Bathroom and Bedroom. Plus, Ceramic Bathroom Pieces, Made in Japan. The wood Strombecker furniture was made in Moline, Illinois (about 175 miles west of Chicago). Strombecker produced furniture from 1931 to the 1960s. One owner, Indianapolis, Indiana, USA. The owner recalls playing with these in her dollhouse in the mid-1940s. If these pieces are dated 1945, they would be 75 years old. So, these pieces are at least 75 years old, or perhaps older. Pieces and Approximate Measurements Below. LIVING ROOM - 13 pieces. Ood Strombecker furniture, except for metal candelabra, maker unknown. Grand Piano - 3 3/8" x 3 1/4" x 2 3/4. Piano Footstool - 1 1/2" x 1 1/8" x 1. 1 3/4" x 1 5/8" x 1. Grandfather Clock - 3 7/8" x 1 1/8" x 3/4. 2 1/2" x 1 1/2" x 7/8.

Floor Lamp - 4" x 1". Brown Round Table - 2 1/4" x 1 7/8". Table Lamp - 1" x 7/8". Blue Chair - 2 1/4" x 2 1/8" x 2 7/8. Blue 3-Piece Couch - 4 3/4" x 2 1/4" x 2 1/4.

Magazine Rack or Book Holder - 1 3/4" x 1" x 7/8. All wood Strombecker Furniture, except for dishes and food. Table - 2 3/4" x 1 7/8" x 1 7/8. 2 Chairs - 2 1/2" x 1 1/8" - 1 1/4" x 1".

Refrigerator - 3 1/2" x 2 7/8" x 1 1/2. Cabinet - 2" x 1 3/8" x 1 1/4. Sink - 3 1/8" x 2 1/4" x 1 3/8.

2 cardboard plates of food, made in Germany (bread & pastry). One wood bowl, repainted in the 1960s.

Metal dishes: 4 plates, 1 teacup, 1 teapot, 1 sugar bowl and 1 pitcher (These metal pieces were repainted in the 1960s). All pieces are ceramic with, "Made In Japan" or "Japan" on bottom, except weight scale is wood Strombecker. Bathtub - 4 1/2" x 1 3/4" x 1 1/2. Sink - 1 7/8" x x 1 7/8" x 1 3/8. Toilet - 1 3/4" x 1 1/2".

Small Chair - 1 5/8" x 1" x 1. Weight Scale - 1 1/4" x 3/4" x 3/8. All pieces are W ood Strombecker Furniture. 2 Single Beds - 4 5/8" x 2 3/8 x 2 3/8". Nightstand - 1 5/8" x 1 1/8" x 1 1/8.

Dresser with Metal Mirror - 3 1/2" x 2 7/8" x 1 1/8. 1 1/2" x 1 1/8" x 1. Alarm Clock - 7/8" x 3/4" x 1/4. 2 Table Lamps 1" x 5/8". Pink Chair - 2 1/2" x 1 1/4" x 1 1/8.

Trashcan - 1 1/4" x 1". I did a gentle dusting. Furniture has: wear, scuffs, soiling, chips, scratches, paint chipped, drops of glue and aging. One of the beds, the back of the headboard splintered at one time, an area about 1 1/2" x 5/8" was glued in place. Bathtub was glued back together years ago. The larger pieces are present, several tiny pieces are missing. The largest chip is about 1/2" x 1/4". Bathtub also has: crazing, cracks and glaze drips.

The small ceramic white bathroom chair has a chip on the bottom, about 1/4" x 1/4". Sugar bowl has a dent, and the teapot is missing the end of the spout. Overall, this vintage dollhouse furniture collection of 4 rooms, is in good, well-cared-for condition. Will be very carefully packaged.
