OOAK Dollhouse Miniature Dachshund Sculpture by Kerri Pajutee. Kerri's OOAK animal sculptures are sought after and prized by collectors worldwide. "Mission Accomplished" Dachshund is a one-of-a-kind dollhouse miniature sculpture who has just pulled the squeaker out of her new doggie toy, and is in the process of taking a little nap (because all that hard work tuckered her out). "Mission Accomplished" Dachshund is an artist original handmade sculpture of oven-cured polyclay over delicate wire reinforcement.

While working in the clay, I envisioned this little smooth doxie in a a flip-flop sleeping pose (so typical for this breed), with a sweet contented smile on her face. And, alongside lies her new red squeaker toy (ripped to shreds) -- because, isn't that what dachshunds do best wink The little squeaker toy was handmade from polymer clay (designed after a popular commercial dog toy), and permanently flocked in bright red cotton fiber with extra bits of stuffing for effect. NOTE: Those who have followed my'furred' miniature animals over the years know that I typically'dress' my one-off sculptures in a permanent realistic coat of applied natural fiber or flock. However, with this particular piece, I just could not bring myself to add a bulk of flock as I felt it would cover up and take away from the sculpt's expressive form.

As such, I chose to leave the surface'as is' with only a layer of soft color hand-painted in artist acrylics & sealed with a fine mist of fixative. "Mission Accomplished" Dachshund bears my artist mark, will not be duplicated in future listings, and will come along with its.

Lovingly packaged in a custom labeled box. Dachshund height (to highest point): 5/8 inches (1.9cm).
