Very rare item - hand made model of a victorian'copper' or washing boiler from the days when you lit a coal fire under a cast iron cauldron - this beautifully detailed model has an opening metal fire door with a realistic'fire' within - this lights up when connected to a 9v battery [probably needs higher voltage as only glows lightly]- there are ashes in the section below - wonderfully detailed complete with a mahogany lid to boiler. This is a vintage item which is around 40 years old if not older. L don't know what scale this is - dimensions - 7cms high x 9 cms wide x 7.5 cms deep.
