Artisan Miniature Dollhouse 1998 RARE Marcia Backstrom Doll A Victorian Madame. This very special Marcia Backstrom doll is wearing the most regal Victorian dress. I can't even count the number of layers and fabrics used in this creation (more than 12). Even her boots are decorated with tiny silk tassels.

The waistband around the skirt is covered in the tiniest silk rosettes with diamond style centers and the sleeves are made of six different sections of trim... And that train is just amazing. The colors are shades of plum, bronze, black, antique gold and cream lace. Her hat makes a fabulous fashion statement as does her hair with slight touches of grey and brown there are twists and curls throughout. She could wear this ensemble in Paris or New York. A beautiful creation, crafted by master doll sculptor, Marcia Backstrom. Doll is in a sitting position and is about 6 tall. I LOVE ANTIQUE AND VINTAGE. THE BIGGER THE COLLECTION, THE BETTER.
