Vintage 1930s Hobbies Special Mock Tudor Dolls House

  
This is a beautiful model of a 1930s Mock Tudor Suburban House. It opens at the front and the back to enable the arrangement of furniture. At the side is an attached garage with opening doors and a fitted internal light. There are lights in each room which work from a transformer from mains power, in addition there is a battery operated door bell with a bell push fitted to the front door(it works beautifully).

It appears to be entirely handmade from the Hobbies Special Plan around the 1930s/40s by a gentleman chartered surveyor. This is an unusual Hobbies Special design because of the back extension and extra rooms, more like a real house in layout.
