It was re-erected in the grounds of Royal Lodge, Windsor, where Princess Elizabeth and Princess Margaret played in it. Lots of information to read on the internet and lots of photos of Princess Elizabeth and Princess Margaret. This example is in good condition with wear & tear commensurate with age and the passing of time.
The house has lighting in two up and two downstairs rooms which still illuminate when the correct current is applied. The lights are usually operated by installation of two batteries which are housed in the roof at the rear and then switched on/off by flicking two bars at the back. It is a very easy and inexpensive job to modify the system to bring it up to modern day standards using materials currently readily available.A small transformer or power supply with the appropriate connectors and a switch would be perfect. The house could do with a little decoration to both the inside and outside, but is being offered here in original condition and with miniature furniture to fill some of the rooms.
