Dolls house miniature Pair Artisan Antique Petit Point Gothic Revival Chairs

  

As one of my hobbies, I enjoy visiting old National Trust Houses in the hope of getting some inspiration to help me create new and exciting miniatures. I saw some beautiful Petit Point chairs a few years ago in one of the big houses in Derbyshire and only recently found exquisitely detailed petit point that was fine enough for 12th scale projects.

This is a pair of Gothic Revival Chairs which I have refurbished in genuine antique Austrian Petit Point with the finest real stitches. This chair style is from the 1860's. The heavy masculine features of this chair are typical of the period as are the rosette roundels and arcaded seat rail. Chair Height 9cm x Width 4cm x Depth 4cm. The doll is t show scale only and isnot included.

1:12th (1) scale miniature item. This is a 12th scale (1 scale) collector's item and notsuitable for persons under the age of 14 years.
