Antique Georgian straw work hand tinted miniature picture / dolls house

Antique Georgian straw work hand tinted miniature picture. Oh how wonderful this is and I will likely regret parting with it. Beautiful hand tinted Georgian print housed in a straw work frame. The image is of two lovers with the French writing translating to. " It is a waste of time to love too much".

How gorgeous are the words and the beautiful hand tinted image. Is it of a miniature scale, so perfect for a dolls house and quite rare. Perfect for a collector of dolls houses. Size 7 x 5.25cm approx x 1.5 cm deep. The condition is good, does have missing straw work along the top edge.

All my items are described honestly and to the best of my knowledge. Please see my other antique dolls house pieces I'm listing.
