RARE Authentic Bill Robertson Miniature Chippendale Georgian Tea Caddy 1976

  

An outstanding and rare 1/12th scale miniature mahogany tea caddy made by world renowned master miniature maker William Robertson. Robertson has built a reputation of being the absolute best at what he does. His one inch to the foot replicas of antique furniture and accessories are on display at some of the finest museums in the world.

This caddy was made by Bill very early in his career in 1976. Mr Robertson is renowned for his incredibly precise working models of antique items.

This caddy is made of mahogany with brass lock plate hinges and handle. The best of the best! Unsigned as many of his earliest works were. I can provide a letter of provenance from my mother stating the time and place as well as detailing her friendship with the Robertson family.
