Antique R Bliss Two Storey Wood & Lithograph Dollhouse w Hinged Front No 571 8

  

Here's a fine antique wood and lithograph 2 storey dollhouse with hinged front by R. The house measures 13 inches tall, 9 inches long and 6½ inches wide.

It weighs 1¾ pounds before packaging. It is marked R Bliss on the front door and has numbers on the sides at the bottom. This piece is generally in very nice condition but with a broken piece to the brittle cardboard back. I have the piece and it can be glued back. It is shown sitting in place in the pictures.

There is also some wear to the wood and graphics from age and use. The steps are not centered and are held in place by a single nail, so they're not tight. The piece may have had chimneys at one time, and there is some loss of wood at the top of the roof where one of them would have been. The interior wallpaper is in good condition.
