A truly stunning handmade built from scratch 24th scale model dolls house of the famous Hardwick Hall in Derbyshire. Built in the late 1590's by Bess of Hardwick it was famous for being more glass than stone to display her immense wealth. The detail is really beautiful. Each tower also has the initials ES and a coronet to denote the houses owner as Elizabeth, Countess of Shrewsbury as she eventually became.

The interior is a beautiful blank canvas for any serious dolls house collector to furnish. All rooms have wooden floors and doors as well as an internal 3 storey staircase. I'm sorry to let this go as it is truly one of a kind, but I'm downsizing and no longer have the room.
