1970s Micro Petit Point Artisan Martha Farnsworth Wall Art Miniature Dollhouse With Wood Frame And Gold Floral Etched Detail 1:12. Depicts bird near bird house watching Victorian girl in pink and blue playing with doll on swing. Hard to find collectible piece. This is a fine example of a hand-crafted miniature dollhouse micro petit point wall art. Martha was an avid needle-worker who coined the term of "Petite Petit-Point". Her work is represented in several museums, both public and private. Worked on silk gauze with approximately 40 stitches per horizontal inch. Frame measures approx: 2 3/4" H x 2 1/2" Great vintage condition; minor signs of age wear. Frame shows some glue remnants on back.
