Vintage German Spielwaren Szalasi ROCOCO ROOM BOX 1:12 Dollhouse Miniature. For sale is this GREAT dollhouse piece. This came from a California estate of a serious miniature collector. This was made in the 1950s/60s in West Germany by Rudolph Szalasi at Boutique Szalasi. It is a confection of a piece, made of wood with wedding cake Rococo decoration on a cream background! I have furniture from this set also available. I looked carefully and could only find one tiny area where there is damage to the delicate gesso- one part of the shell on the right hand side of the window is missing. This is so ornate you cannot tell unless you look extremely carefully. Besides that it is perfect with gleaming floors and clean fabric.

To made the structure permanent would just take some wood glue. I believe these were mostly intended as store displays.

It has the original red sticker on the back. It measures 22.25" wide, 10.25" high, and 16.7 deep.
