Dolls house miniature JBM Cane Quality Sofa Settee Antique Austrian Petit Point

  

As one of my hobbies, I enjoy visiting old National Trust Houses in the hope of getting some inspiration to help me create new and exciting miniatures. I saw some beautiful Petit Point chairs a few years ago in one of the big houses in Derbyshire and only recently found exquisitely detailed petit point that was fine enough for 12th scale projects. This is a quality heavily carved Settee / Sofa by JBM in walnut colour wood with cane style back. I have re-upholstered it using genuine antique Austrian figural antique Petit Point with real stitches. Included are two petit point cushions loose.

This is a one-off as I will never have this particular petit point again. Height 8.8cm x Width 11cm x Depth 5.6cm. This is a 12th scale (1 scale) collector's item and not suitable for persons under the age of 14 years.
