It was craftsman made of wood (not MDF). The house stands at 3 foot high, with an extra 4 inches for the chimneys. 33 inches wide and 13 inches deep (16 1/2 inches including the basement extension). The house is fully decorated with wallpapers, mouldings, fireplaces, hearths and floor coverings. It is also fully electrified. There are two transformers (included). One transformer powers the lights and the other powers the fire places (which all light up). Everything works and all bulbs (which are changeable) are in full working order. All wiring is totally concealed. The walls are papered in a red flock wallpaper.

The floor has individually laid real wood floorboards. It has a real pewter Adams fire grate with a flickering fire unit which adds realism. A stunnng mirror is placed over the surround.

The ceiling has ornate plasterwork and a six arm chandalier. Red tasseled curtains with a fringed pelmet set off the tall window. The dining room has lovely blue wallper panels set in gold painted frames. It has a stunning Sue Cooke fireplace and over mantle. The overmantle contains an original oil painting.

The floor is covered with individually laid black and white tiles, these extend into the hallway. There is a large floorstanding mirror in the side wall. There is a six arm chandalier and double doors that open into the hallway. Gold fringed curtains with a fringed pelmet.

The hallway has a wooden staircase leading up to the next floor and a three arm chandalier. There are plaster embellishments on the wall which are picked out in gold. The whole of the kitchen and scullery (which form the basement) are covered with individually hand made tiles. They vary in shades of grey and look very realistic. The kitchen has a built in cooking stove with removable plates and a black cooking pot hanging in front. Above there is a long shelf with a ridge to hold plates, pot lids etc. There are copper cooking utensils and measuring cups hanging on the wall next to the stove. There are also several wooden shelves fitted to the wall. There is a staircase leading up to the ground floor and a cubby hole under the stairs (useful for storing barrels, sacks etc). There is a mock door at the back of the kitchen for the servants to use! Two candle wall lights light the kitchen from the side. The scullery has a wooden mock door to the outside. It has a brass lock and key.

It is accessed by a worn step. The window at the back looks out onto a hand painted background to represent a yard at the rear. In the corner is a handmade brick build copper.

The wooden lid is removable and the coals in the base light up. Next to the copper is a sink on brick piers, draining board and water pump.

A wooden plate rack is fixed to the wall above the sink. A meat cupboard next to that, and a long wooden shelf on the opposite wall. Partly wallpapered with a wall candle light.

Lovely fireplace and individuallly fitted real wood floorboards. Gold curtains with ties backs and fringed pelmet.

Two deep built in bookcases to make this into a lovely library. Two wall mounted candle lights and partly wallpapered walls. Two tone handmade curtains with tie backs and fringed pelmet. Green marble fire surround and hearth.

Individually laid real wood floorboards which extend across to the landing, where there is a staircase and double candle light fitting. There are two rooms in the attic, plus a landing area with mock door to the imaginary back staircase. The whole attic floor is covered with individually laid wooden floorboards.

Each room and the landing have a candle light and a net curtain made from real antique lace. These top rooms are ideal as servants bedrooms/nursery etc.

The roof is tiled and has chimney stacks of real brick slips which are pointed in. The chimneys are real terracotta clay. The front of the house has real metal railings (these have been repaired once but I dont think it is noticable) and steps leading up to the grand front door with brass knob and lion door knocker. Over the door is a half round window. To the far right of the house is a fire security sign something all the best houses would have, as without one showing on the front of your house, the fire brigade would not come and put out the fire if you were unlucky enough to have one!

This is a beautiful house that is ready to move into, but please take note of the following..... Where I have removed pictures and mirrors, there may be slight markings on the walls (from the blue tack or holding wax). To get round this you could either place something on the wall over it, or maybe touch it up with a little paint.

This house is collection only, but I could arrange a courier for you if you were not able to pick it up yourself (at buyers cost). Conversely you could arrange your own courier. Please feel free to ask any questions you may have, or if you want more photos.....
