Dolls house miniature 1:12 stunning vintage black lacquer Chinoiserie canopy bed by English artisan, Judith Dunger, for the serious collector. Dates from approximately late 80s/early 90s. This is a breath-taking piece of miniature furniture and one which rarely comes to market. The red silk panel/curtain can be removed if required - it simply then reattaches with hooks.

Comes with the mattress shown in the last photograph. The roof of the bed is a separate piece entirely which simply sits on the top of the bedframe. Ive photographed it whilst lying flat in order to better see the simply amazing dragon design of the underneath of the roof. The roof is slightly off kilter, (it doesnt quite sit flat), but as you can see from the photos, this is not visible in any way when in situ and will not detract from the beds rigidity in any way. There are no marks, cracks or any issues with the lacquer/paintwork. Part of a collection which has been greatly cherished and cared for, having been in storage for the past few years.
