You can keep up with the Jones and own this luxurious, six room, two-story dollhouse without even applying for a mortgage! This vintage tin dollhouse was made by Marx in the 1950s. From our research we believe this dollhouse to be 1:16 scale (the front door measures 5.5in/14cm in height). The vintage Marx dollhouse measures 33L (84cm) x 12W (30cm) x 17H (43cm) the height is not considering the chimney.

This colonial style dollhouse is from the 1950s and as was common for that period it is made of tin. There are 6 rooms, a garage and patio each complete with vintage Marx furniture. The tin lithography is in amazing condition!

Note: There is a bent wall along the side of the garage. The ground level of the dollhouse is designed to resemble white brick and the second story red siding. The white brick lithography is also used for the chimney. The chimney top is a separate tin piece.

Gorgeous tin litho artwork of gardens, flower boxes and a trellis run around the base of the dollhouse. Each room of the Marx dollhouse is decorated with wonderful tin litho graphics. A large living room with a fireplace. A master bedroom with a fireplace also. And a patio above the garage. Each of the rooms come fully furnished with original Marx plastic furniture. The pieces of furniture appear to be 1:16 scale (a sampling of sizes are shown in the photos). There are a total of 47 pieces of vintage plastic furniture that are included in the sale of this Marx tin dollhouse. All of the furniture is in fantastic condition!
