Tri-ang Ultra Modern Art Deco Dolls House No 51, rare item, original condition

  

Here is a very rare dolls house. These dolls houses were not very popular at the time as people preferred the more traditional cottage or country house style, so they are rare to get hold of now. It is complete other than the battery box on the left hand side on the roof which is missing its lid and is a little damaged, see photos and the only other bit missing is a light shade in one of the rooms. The sun room and the chimney are still there, usually these get lost. The window material has discoloured and is warped but we have sourced some new material sufficient to replace all of them which will come with it.

The frames are all intact so this is not a big deal. It has been sitting in a loft for years, we have given it a light dust but someone wanting to restore it would have very little to do other than give it a proper clean, possibly rub it down and paint it. The curtains are dirty but all original too, and the fireplaces are all there but a bit loose. Unfortunately it's too big to post so it will need to be collected either from Worthing or we can take it to Leatherhead if it's easier.
