Dolls House Miniature 1/12th Scale Bespoke hand made 1960 cub camp and cub doll

  
Lovely bespoke cub camp my sons went to camp in the late 60's and 70's. So it is from memory that I made it. The field is 10" x 11" and made of a scruffy grass with dents all over as fields are like that. The knarled old tree was a Bonsai tree that died and I stuck false greenery on it. The tent has guy ropes with wooden pegs. The tent is glued into place, but most other things are held in place with green tacky, and can be moved, the dog and cub are loose as are some other things. The do is a Jack Russel and made of pipe cleaners.

The wooden stand and wash-up stand are made from wood in the woods and bound together with rope as they used to be. Grubby tea towels on a stand and very grubby pots and pans. There is a box of tinned food (he would be one of a pack of cubs)a first aid kit, tuck box from home with goodies and many other things. In the tent is a rolled up blanket, torch, boy's books and a tin mug.

Lots of pots and pans etc. The bespoke cub is all hand made, the arms and legs move and so does the head, but I put some wax there to make it firmer. He is in the uniform of the time, scarf can make a sling if needed! He has badges and a cap.

He is 4 tall and has a lovely face.
