Rare Len Lewis Hand Made Dolls House. Have had for several years but never got round to doing up. This model is an example of the fine Country House, owned by the Lord of the Manor or a wealthy merchant.

Note the handsome facade with imposing porch and the pillared windows (each fitted with spring loaded working sashes) Open the front of the house and view the carved Baroque style staircase and the ground galleried hallway. Good sized rooms enable you to lay out your furniture with ease. An electric circuit is fitted throughout. Classic Houses hand made by Len Lewis. As such, it has sat and collected dust.

Just Google "Len Lewis doll's house" to see some finished examples of just how beautiful this will look when finished. The roof lifts up to reveal the 4 attic rooms, and the front opens up to reveal rooms inside. Over 5 storeys, there are 16 rooms altogether, including attic and basement.

It is all wired for "electricity" (via an external battery) so lights can be fitted in all rooms. Parquet style flooring in the main hall. Condition is generally excellent as it has been sat in one room, but there may be one or two little marks here and there, and a couple of small bits that may need to be glued back on - not an issue as it is still in its unpainted state.

As with it's original intended use, this is ideal for someone who wants to finish and decorate as a hobby. This was handmade in the UK By Len Lewis, and as far as I know is only one of two ever made. I don't know how heavy it is (easily a two man lift though due to size), and measures 26" deep, 48" wide, and 60 tall 5 feet! Due to its size, collection is essential.
